anywhere along the route where it is safe to stop. Special discounted
fares are available for seniors, students and the disabled.
ParaTRAX
Dial-a-ride transit service in the
greater Red Bluff area. ParaTRAX is a "rideshare" program -- rides are
booked in advance, routed as efficiently as possible, and the bus is
shared with other riders (which may lengthen ride times). Advance
reservations are required for ParaTRAX and there is an additional charge
for same-day service.
Riders are required to book pickup and
return trips at the same time. Special discounted fares are available
for seniors and the disabled with proper identification.
Deviated Routes
(For disabled riders outside the Red
Bluff ParaTRAX service area) Regularly scheduled TRAX buses will deviate up to 3/4 of a mile off the
regular routes to provide rides to persons with disabilities who have
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) certification. Advance
reservations are required and certain limitations apply.
ADA Paratransit Service
ADA Paratransit Service is provided by
ParaTRAX in the greater Red Bluff area and by Deviated Routes outside of
the ParaTRAX service area.
Special Community Events
TRAX buses are available for
transportation to and from special community events which provide
educational, social, cultural, recreational, or health related benefits
to community members for a nominal hourly fee. |
