- Service

Dial-a-ride transit service in the
greater Red Bluff area. ParaTRAX is a "rideshare" program which means
rides are booked in advance and routed as efficiently as possible. You
will be sharing the bus with other riders which may lengthen ride times.
Drivers will assist with boarding but are not allowed to assist
passengers to or from their door or to assist with carry-on items.

- 3-Minute Wait Time

The bus will wait 3 minutes from the
time of arrival. Drivers are not allowed to honk the horn, so you need
to be watching for the bus. In most cases, ParaTRAX will not wait for
passengers to reboard the buses. Exceptions may include prescription or
daycare pick-up/drop-off if arranged in advance.

- Cancellations & No-shows

Please cancel reservations as far in
advance as possible. Anyone who fails to cancel a ride in advance or
does not board the bus within the 3-minute wait time is considered a "No
Show". Three no-shows in a 30-day
period will result in a 30-day suspension of service.

- Restrictions

Vehicles can not travel on most gravel
or dirt roads, alleys, driveways, private roads, narrow cul-de-sacs,
parking lots, etc.

- Reservations

Reservations will be accepted up to 1/2
hour prior to the scheduled end of service as described in Hours of
Operation. Advance Reservations Are Required For Pickup And Return
Trips. Reservations must be made one to seven days in advance. A
reservation will be given for the time requested to the extent possible.
Reservation times may be scheduled within one hour before or after the
requested time. Reservations will be accepted up to seven days prior to
the day of service. Subscription service (on-going reservations for
repetitive trips) will be provided on a limited, space-available basis.
